Immortality

I do not believe in the depth of the humane 'forever'. What I believe in, is that, though our time is very limited, we should make it have the depth 'forever' intended to mean. Live it to the fullest. See all the good things there are even during the worst scenarios facing you.




Someone special once told me that he believes in the 'Law of Attraction'-- that if you really really wanted something to happen, the universe will conspire so that you'll get that. 




What is that something that you may have really wanted for yourself? Except all those material things, what would you ask for?






Turn back time?
At one point in time, I really wanted to turn back time. I really wished to undo that one thing in my life. I always thought that I fall so easily. I always tend to see the good side, though things are really bleak. Being optimistic has its cons, too. Especially if you really really wanted something, and everything just failed.




I was fifteen. I had my first boyfriend. My first kiss. My first movie date. 


I had a lot of firsts. It felt so good, so exciting. But somehow, it makes me think, could it had been better if all those firsts were with someone who would be my last as well?




I dunno. Sabi nga, things happen for a reason :P It was not like I did not love my first BF, it was just that, I wish, I didn't met him. haha. So mean.




Make that someone love you back?
If you really, really work hard for something, then, the moment you finally achieved what you wanted, would be one of the ecstatic moments of your life. Say, a genie popped out and asked you what you wanted, would it make you happy to know that the love s/he is feeling for you is not genuine?




What then is genuine love? Voluntary love. Loving you despite of, not only because. That love which is not expecting something in return. That which is consummate. That which is able to give it all, and still give some more. 


Sometimes, I fear that there are only a few sensible men out there. So far, I have only met a few-- most of whom are taken. haha!
